Gourd Bowls are large ceramic bowls that are hand-built with stoneware clay. The name Gourd Bowl originated because of it’s organic shape and its resemblance to a large gourd.
These bowls are from our Signature Fine Art Collection and are an original design by Jill Zeidler.
A true statement piece, the Large Gourd Bowl is defined by its substantial visual presence and soft, organic silhouette. Hand-built from just two stoneware slabs—the base and the lip—its unique construction gives the bowl a subtle looseness in form that mimics its natural namesake.
This original design by Jill Zeidler is ideally scaled as a focal point for a kitchen island or a grand dining table.
Finish: Glossy Chartreuse base + Satin White lip.

Because it is hand built, each bowl has a subtle looseness in shape and is truly unique. Gourd Bowls are made with only two pieces of clay consisting of the lip and the base. The Large Gourd Bowl has a nice weight to it and the base is flat and sanded smooth.
Gourd Bowls are a true statement piece for the home art collection. Because of the Large Gourd Bowls size, it is best suited for a larger space, such as, a centerpiece on the kitchen island or dining room table.

All Jill Zeidler Ceramic Art pottery may vary slightly in color, shape and size. Items are handmade, variations occur and are celebrated.
My pottery is food, dishwasher and microwave safe unless noted. As with any ceramic item handwashing is encouraged but can certainly handle the dishwasher with extra care.
My work is created through the process of hand building with slabs of stoneware clays. This technique lends itself to a subtle looseness and organic quality.
Evidence of my hand building process is shown through leaving an exposed seam in each of my pieces.
RETURN POLICY
Returns or exchanges are not accepted simply due to the nature of shipping costs for returning items and for the possibility of breakage upon return shipment by customer.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us so that we can help make your shopping experience a good one. It is our goal to provide you with a positive shopping experience and a handmade item that you will love and adore.

Refunds or returns ONLY on a case by case basis in this event.
SHIPPING POLICY
Should there be shipping overages a refund will be issued after the shipping price has been calculated and processed.
My prices for shipping are for UPS, FED EX GROUND or USPS FIRST CLASS.
I ship fully insured.
All orders will be carefully packaged and insured.
PLEASE NOTE we are not responsible for theft or damage to packages once delivered.
- If you do not want UPS, FedEx or USPS to leave a package at your door, please contact us to alert them that a signature is required for delivery.
- Upgraded shipping is available by request. The customer is responsible for the extra shipping fees.
It is true that boxes get tossed around in shipping. If your pottery arrives damaged, please let us know immediately we are here to help!

Snap a pic of the damaged piece(s) and email us so we can file a claim and get a replacement or refund out as quickly as possible.
Any and all shipping charges are non-refundable in the event of a return or exchange. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with the exchanging or returning of products.
Shipping will not be refunded if an item arrives broken. We will refund the price of the item or replace it.
